The invention offers an attractive complement to valve-controlled internal combustion engines and can thereby perform a complementary valve control in connection with, for example, engine braking. Brief Description of the Drawings In the following, exemplary embodiments of the invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. Detailed description of the exemplary embodiment shown in Figs. 1 and 2 schematically shows a space in the form of a cylinder 10 in an internal combustion engine and a valve 11 arranged at the cylinder, which may be an intake valve or an exhaust valve. It will of course be appreciated that the cylinder 10 is in fact provided with at least two valves. The valve 11 is actuated to open by means of an actuating device 12 in the form of, for example, a camshaft with associated push rod 13 and a tiltable lever 14 according to conventional principles or according to other known solutions. For the closing movement of the valve 11, a return spring 15 is provided. The valve 11 has a valve rod 16 and a pressure rod 17 arranged therewith which is actuated by the actuating device 12 during opening movement, which is thus responsible for the normal control of the opening and closing pattern of the valve. It will be appreciated that the actuator 12 may be designed in several different ways. According to the invention, a slave piston 20 is arranged annularly around the push rod 17. The slave piston 20 is axially slidable along the push rod 17. The push rod 17 has a thickened portion 21 against which the slave piston 20 acts. The return movement of the slave piston 20 is ensured by a return spring 22. From the combustion chamber / cylinder 10 is arranged a channel 30 which runs to a first control valve 31 which in the example shown consists of a so-called ball valve with a spring-actuated ball 32 which normally seals against an annular sealing surface 33. From the valve 31 a channel 35 runs to a second control valve 40 as shown in the figures. From the valve 40 a channel 45 extends to a cylinder 50 for a primary piston 61 of a ratio piston 60. From a cylinder 51 for the secondary piston 60 the secondary piston 62 runs a channel 70 to a cylinder 25 for the slave piston 20. The diameter of the primary piston 61 is larger than the secondary piston 62 diameter so that a pressure boost is obtained. To ensure the return movement of the ratio piston 60, a return spring 63 is arranged as shown in the ur gures. A control device 80 is provided for controlling the valves 31 and 40 so that the desired opening cycles of the invention are obtained with the valve 11. When an opening of the valve 11 is desired, the control device 80 initiates an opening of the valves 31 and 40 so that pressurized gas from the cylinder 10 via the channels 30, 35 and 45 can reach the primary piston 61 of the ratio piston 60 and apply a movement thereto. There is an increase in pressure of an incompressible fluid trapped in the channel 70 and otherwise between the secondary piston 60 of the ratio piston 60 and the slave piston 20, for example hydraulic oil. This means that the slave piston 20 via the thickening 21 applies to the pressure rod 17 and the valve rod 16 a movement opening the valve 11 which is limited in length by an abutment (not shown) or by the working length of the slave piston 20. When the desired opening duration is reached, the control device 80 is re-actuated so that the valve 31 closes the gas flow from the cylinder 10 and the valve 40 assumes a position for releasing return gas via a line / channel 90. The ratio piston 60 will exert a return movement due to pressure relief and return. The slave piston 20 and thus the pressure rod 17 and the valve 11 will also exert a return movement due to pressure relief and return spring action so that the valve 11 is closed. It will be appreciated that the aforementioned opening and closing of the valve 11 is completely independent of normal valve openings and closures and that it also does not interfere with a normal valve opening procedure. Fig. 2 shows a control device 80 shown in more detail where one sees a control rod 95 which acts on a valve ball 32 so that a valve opening is obtained at the same time as the control rod serves as a second control valve. It will be appreciated that the control valve arrangements may be designed in many different ways within the scope of the present inventive concept. The first and second control valves can, for example, be integrated in a single control valve which possesses the required control functions. The control device 80 can of course also be of varying design within the scope of the present inventive idea. The invention offers a system for engine braking and a servo device for valve opening. It should be understood that the invention can be used with all types of motors and other devices where the above needs exist.
